The Pandemic Project

 Connection | Compassion | Collaboration

There is a lot going on right now. So much that sometimes it is hard to wrap my mind around it. At first this was debilitating and I just wanted to curl up in a ball and wait for it to be over. Then this project began as a way to keep going musically, something that had come to a halt in March. As the pandemic got worse and isolation lingered, the focus became to provide respite and connection to listeners. And then Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd were killed and the focus became activism. We are musicians and we must use our craft to educate ourselves and others, connect to our community, support progress, and challenge the status quo.

All tips received for this music video will go to the Nashville Tornado Relief Fund. In March, Nashville residents were hit with a double whammy in the same week, a catastrophic tornado and Covid-19, both of which continue to affect people of all colors. My brother has resided in Nashville since 2011 so these emergencies hit close to home. We decided to send all tips made from this video to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee's Emergency Response Fund
